🧽✨5 Spots Everyone Forgets to Clean From This Girl Sells Houses 🧽✨

We all know the usual cleaning routine—vacuuming, dusting, wiping down counters—but there are a few hidden spots in our homes that often get overlooked. As your trusted real estate resource, I thought I’d share the top 5 places people forget to clean (but definitely should!):

  1. Ceiling Fans & Light Fixtures – Dust loves to settle here and can spread around the room when the fan is on.
  2. Baseboards – These collect dust and scuffs over time, but a quick wipe makes a huge difference.
  3. Behind Appliances – Crumbs, dust, and even pet hair build up behind the stove, fridge, and washer/dryer.
  4. Air Vents & Filters – Keeping these clean helps your HVAC system run smoothly and your air stay fresh.
  5. Cabinet Handles & Doorknobs – High-touch spots that are easy to miss but can hold onto germs and grime.

A little attention to these areas can really freshen up your home—whether you’re living in it, preparing to sell, or just want to keep things in top shape.

If you ever need recommendations for local cleaning services, handymen, or even want advice on getting your home market-ready, I’m always here to help.

🍂Your Guide to Selling in the Fall Market 🍂

As the leaves start to change and cooler weather sets in, many homeowners wonder if fall is a good time to sell. The answer is a big YES! The fall market has its own advantages, and with the right strategy, you can make your home stand out beautifully this season.

Why Sell in the Fall? 🍁

  • Motivated Buyers – Buyers looking in the fall are often serious about moving before the holidays or the new year.

  • Less Competition – With fewer homes on the market compared to spring and summer, your property has a better chance to shine.

  • Cozy Curb Appeal – Fall naturally brings out warmth and charm. Homes decorated for the season feel extra inviting.

Staging Tips with Autumn Flair 🏡✨

  • Warm Welcomes – Add a fall wreath to your front door and a new welcome mat to greet potential buyers.

  • Seasonal Accents – Think cozy throws, decorative pumpkins, and warm-toned pillows. Keep it tasteful and minimal to avoid overwhelming.

  • Natural Elements – Use seasonal flowers like mums or accents like pinecones to bring the outside in.

  • Lighting – With shorter days, make sure your home feels bright and welcoming. Soft lamps and candles can make a huge difference.

  • Fresh Scents – Subtle aromas of apple, cinnamon, or pumpkin spice can make your home feel even more inviting.

🍂 When’s the Best Time to Start Decorating for Fall? 🍂

Can you believe summer is already winding down? As the seasons start to shift, many homeowners are asking me: “When is the best time to start decorating for fall?”

The short answer: right after Labor Day is a great time to start! That’s when temperatures begin to cool slightly, and we start to feel those cozy fall vibes creeping in. If you’re listing your home or planning to sell soon, seasonal decor can actually enhance your home’s curb appeal and make interiors feel warm and inviting to buyers.

Here are a few simple ways to bring in the season without going overboard:

  • Add a fall wreath to your front door
  • Use neutral-toned pumpkins and mums for a classy touch
  • Incorporate cozy textures like knits and warm-toned throws indoors

If you’re thinking about selling this fall, or just want tips on staging with seasonal decor, I’m always happy to help!

Wishing you an early (but not too early!) happy fall season 🍁

Real Estate Market Update & What’s Ahead!!

As we head into fall, I wanted to share a quick snapshot of the current real estate market and what we’re expecting over the next few months.

📊 Market Update:

  • Home prices: Prices have stayed steady in most areas, with slight growth in certain neighborhoods due to low inventory.

Average Home Price: “insert home price”

  • Buyer activity: While the summer rush is tapering off, serious buyers are still active and ready to move quickly on well-priced homes.
  • Interest rates: Rates have shown small fluctuations, but many experts anticipate more stability heading into fall.

🔮 Fall Predictions:

  • Continued demand for move-in-ready homes: Staging and proper preparation will remain key for sellers.
  • Less competition for buyers: Fall can be a great time to buy with fewer bidding wars than peak summer months.
  • Strong local market: Our area is expected to remain stable with steady growth heading into the end of the year.

Whether you’re thinking of buying, selling, or just curious about what your home is worth in this market, I’m here to help you navigate your next move with confidence.

🍁 Pro tip: Fall is also a fantastic time to list your home—fewer homes on the market often means more attention from serious buyers.

🍦Cool Off with the Best Ice Cream Spots in Cincinnati & NKY! 🍦

Summer is the perfect excuse to treat yourself to something sweet—and Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati  has no shortage of amazing ice cream spots! Whether you’re craving a classic cone or something a little more unique, here are some of my top picks around Florence & Cincinnati Area:

🍦 Hello Honey (Downtown Cincinnati) – Small-batch, handmade ice cream with unique flavors like Bourbon Burnt Sugar and Honey Lavender. They even make their own toasted marshmallow topping in-house!

🍨 The Cone – Technically just over the river in West Chester, but absolutely worth the drive. Their orange sherbet cone is iconic and the building itself looks like a giant swirl cone—so fun!

🍧 Aglamesis Bro’s (Oakley & Montgomery) – A Cincinnati classic since 1908! Their old-fashioned ice cream and rich, creamy malts are the real deal. The Oakley parlor is full of vintage charm.

🍨 Graeter’s Ice Cream (Crestview Hills) – Can’t leave this fan-favorite off the list. Rich, creamy, and full of those famous chocolate chips.

Have a favorite I didn’t mention? I’d love to hear about it! And as always, if you’re thinking about buying, selling, or investing this summer—or just want to talk real estate—I’m always here for you.

Stay cool and enjoy every scoop! 😄
